2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Passenger Extended, 5.0 MSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Position the rear speaker into the opening in the rear shelf.
  2. Install the fasteners in order to secure the rear speakers to the vehicle.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .

    TightenΒ 

    Tighten the speaker fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  3. Install the rear shelf trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT -- REAR WINDOW SHELF .

  4. Install the speaker electrical connectors (1).
  5. Install the rear compartment trim. Refer to COMPARTMENT TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT--REAR .
