Removal Procedure

- Remove the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement (w/o UM8) or Radio Replacement (w UM8) .
- Remove the right side windshield garnish molding. Refer to GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT -- WINDSHIELD PILLAR .
- Remove the upper instrument panel trim pad. Refer to TRIM PAD REPLACEMENT -- IP UPPER .
- Disconnect the antenna coaxial cable from the radio cavity by sliding the cable connection upwards out of the retainer.
- Remove the remaining cable clips (1) from the instrument panel support.
- Disconnect the coaxial cable connector (2).
- Remove the antenna extension cable from the vehicle.
