- Install the thermostat.
- Install the gasket and the water outlet housing.
- Install the water outlet housing bolts.
Tighten:
Tighten the bolts to 27 N.m (20 ft lbs)
- Install the radiator hose to the water outlet housing. Use the J 38185 to reposition and install the hose clamp to the water outlet housing.
- Install the air cleaner intake duct.
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System
- Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to FUEL INJECTOR SIGHT SHIELD REPLACEMENT (L36) or FUEL INJECTOR SIGHT SHIELD REPLACEMENT (L67)
- Inspect for leaks.
