Ignition Coil Housing: Installation
2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Passenger Extended, 5.0 MSECTION Installation

- Ensure the interconnect and seal are lined up before module installation. Install the Ignition Control Module (ICM) in the ignition coil housing. See Figure.
- Install the ICM retaining bolts. Tighten retaining bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the ICM harness connector.
- Install the ignition coil housing to the camshaft cover.
- Install the ignition coil housing retaining bolts. Tighten the retaining bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the accelerator and cruise control cables bracket.
- Install the accelerator and cruise control cables bracket bolts. Tighten the retaining bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the accelerator and cruise control cables to the bracket.
- Connect the negative battery cable. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
