DTC C0559: EEPROM Checksum Error: Testing

2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Passenger Extended, 5.0 MSECTION Testing
  1. If theft deterrent diagnostic system check has been performed, go to next step. If theft deterrent diagnostic system check has not been performed, go to THEFT DETERRENT DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECKΒ  .
  2. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Replace Passlock(tm) module. After repair, go to next step.
  3. Reconnect all previously disconnected connectors and components. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC), located below steering column. See Figure . Clear DTCs. Perform PROGRAMMING THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM COMPONENTSΒ  . After repair, perform PROGRAMMING THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM COMPONENTSΒ  .
