2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo Extended, 5.7 R, L31/KL8SECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Position the seat adjuster motor assembly to the front seat adjuster.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the nut to the seat adjuster motor bracket.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Install the drive cables to the seat adjuster motors. Refer to Drive Cable Replacement - Horizontal and Vertical .

  4. Connect the electrical wiring harness connectors to the seat adjuster motors.

  5. If equipped, install the push-in retainer (2) and tab (1) from the power lumbar harness to the motor bracket.
  6. Install the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket .
