2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo Extended, 5.7 R, L31/KL8SECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the trim plate from the front floor console. Refer to TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT -- FRONT FLOOR CONSOLE .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the wiring harness in the front floor console.
  3. Using a small flat-bladed tool, release the retainer clips from the heated seat switch.
  4. Remove the heated seat switch from the console trim plate.
