The following are the modes of operation for the remote activation verification for the keyless entry system:

  • Mode 1:

    The remote activation verification feature is disabled.

  • Mode 2:

    The headlamps flash when the LOCK button or the UNLOCK button on the keyless entry transmitter is pressed.

  • Mode 3:

    The headlamps flash and the horn chirps when the LOCK button on the keyless entry transmitter is pressed. The headlamps flash when the UNLOCK button on the keyless entry transmitter is pressed.

  • Mode 4: (Default)

    The headlamps flash when the LOCK button or the UNLOCK button on the keyless entry transmitter is pressed. The headlamps flash and the horn chirps when the LOCK button is pressed a second time (within 5 seconds of the first press).
