2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo Extended, 5.7 R, L31/KL8SECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to WATER DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOORΒ  .
  2. Disconnect the front door inside handle rods.
  3. Disconnect the front door inside handle rods from the front door inside rod block.

  5. Disconnect the front door outside handle rods.

  7. Remove the front door lock screws (1,2,3).

  9. Remove the front door lock from inside the front door.
  10. Disconnect the front door lock electrical connectors.

  12. Remove the front door inside handle rods from the front door lock.
