- Open the hood.
- Block the hood latch to prevent the hood locking until the hood release cable has been installed.
- Mark the hood latch to the hood latch support bracket with a grease pencil.
- Remove the bolts from the hood latch.
- Remove the hood latch from the hood latch support.
