2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo Extended, 5.7 R, L31/KL8SECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the seat cushion trim cover and pad to expose the heater control module (3). Refer to SEAT CUSHION COVER REPLACEMENT - FRONTΒ  .
  2. To remove the module from the seat inboard frame, pinch the retaining pin together and pull the module out.

  3. Disconnect the module from the electrical connector.
  4. Remove the module from the vehicle.
