2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo Extended, 5.7 R, L31/KL8SECTION Removal Procedure

Important:Β  The cruise control module is mounted to the left strut tower. Service the cruise control module as a complete unit.

  1. Remove the cruise control cable from the cruise control module. Refer to CRUISE CONTROL CABLE REPLACEMENT (3.1L)Β  or CRUISE CONTROL CABLE REPLACEMENT (3.8L)Β  .
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the cruise control module.

  3. Remove the cruise control module retaining nuts from the shock tower.
