2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo Extended, 5.7 R, L31/KL8SECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical connector(s) to the rear speaker(s).
  2. Engage the up level rear speaker tab to the rear window panel, if equipped.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the up level rear speaker bolts, if equipped.

    TightenΒ 

    Tighten the up level rear speaker bolts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  4. Insert the speaker tabs to the openings in the rear window panel. Engage the speaker retainer.
  5. Install the rear window trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR WINDOW SHELF in Interior Trim.
