2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo Extended, 5.7 R, L31/KL8SECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear shelf trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR WINDOW SHELF in Interior Trim.
  2. Loosen the audio amplifier bolts.
  3. Open the rear compartment.
  4. Lower the audio amplifier bolts away from the openings in the rear window panel, as shown. Disengage the tabs from the slots in the rear window panel.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the audio amplifier.
  6. Remove the audio amplifier.
