2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo Extended, 5.7 R, L31/KL8SECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front floor console trim plate. Refer to TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - FRONT FLOOR CONSOLE in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  2. Grasp the floor shift control trim bezel and lift to release the retaining tabs.
  3. Rotate the floor shift control indicator lamp socket counterclockwise to release from the trim bezel.
  4. Remove the bulb from the socket.
