2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo Extended, 5.7 R, L31/KL8SECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the radiator hose (3) on to outlet port (2) of the radiator.
  2. Install radiator outlet hose on to the water pump housing (1).
  3. Use J 38185Β  in order to reposition and install the hose clamp to the radiator.
  4. Install the lower air deflector. Refer to Radiator Air Baffle and Deflector Replacement - LowerΒ .
  5. Lower the vehicle.

  6. Align the marks on the hose and install the radiator outlet hose to the water pump housing.
  7. Use J 38185Β  in order to reposition and install the hose clamp to the water pump housing.
  8. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling SystemΒ .
