2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo Extended, 5.7 R, L31/KL8SECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the stabilizer shaft insulator.

  3. Ensure that the stabilizer shaft insulator locating tabs (3) align with the indentations in the frame (2).
  4. Install the left and right side stabilizer shaft insulator brackets.
  5. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  6. Install the left and right side stabilizer shaft insulator bracket bolts.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the stabilizer shaft insulator bracket bolts to 48 N.m (35 lb in).

  7. Install the front tires. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
