2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo Extended, 5.7 R, L31/KL8SECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Open the endgate.
  2. Remove the endgate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - EndgateΒ .
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the liftgate latches.

  4. Remove the bolts from the liftgate latches.

  5. Remove the liftgate latches from the endgate.
