2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo Extended, 5.7 R, L31/KL8SECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left side instrument panel insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Rotate the cruise control release switch counterclockwise until the travel stop has been reached (approximately 60 degrees).

  3. Remove the cruise control release switch from the retainer.

  4. Disconnect the cruise control release switch electrical connector.
