2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo Extended, 5.7 R, L31/KL8SECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the XM digital radio receiver to the receiver bracket.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the radio receiver nuts.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the nuts to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connector and the antenna connectors to the XM radio receiver.

  4. Install the I/P compartment. Refer to Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  5. Perform the setup procedure for the digital radio receiver. Refer to Digital Radio Receiver SetupΒ .
