CAUTION: When working with any type of glass or sheet metal with exposed or rough edges, wear approved safety glasses and gloves in order to reduce the chance of personal injury.
  1. Place your fingers as far as possible behind the mirror face toward the center of the back.

  2. Remove the mirror face from the mirror housing with sufficient force to disengage the snap-locks on the mirror motor.
  3. Remove the mirror face from the mirror housing.
  4. Disconnect the heated mirror electrical connectors if equipped.
