Sensing & Diagnostic Module (SDM): Removal

  1. Before proceeding, See AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONSΒ  . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEMΒ  .
  2. Remove driver seat. Fold back carpet to access SDM. Remove Connector Position Assurance (CPA) clip and disconnect SDM harness connector. Remove SDM fasteners. See Figure .Remove SDM.
