- Remove the wiper arms. Refer to WIPER ARM REPLACEMENT .
- Remove the air inlet grille panel. Refer to AIR INLET GRILLE PANEL REPLACEMENT .
- Remove the transmission drive link from the wiper motor crank arm using the J 39232.
- Remove the transmission screws.
- Remove the transmission from the vehicle through the access openings in the top of the cowl.
