2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo Extended, 5.7 R, L31/KL8SECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the wiper arms. Refer to WIPER ARM REPLACEMENTΒ .
  2. Remove the air inlet grille panel. Refer to AIR INLET GRILLE PANEL REPLACEMENT .
  3. Remove the transmission drive link from the wiper motor crank arm using the J 39232.Β

  4. Remove the transmission screws.
  5. Remove the transmission from the vehicle through the access openings in the top of the cowl.
