- Ensure that the headlamp switch is in the OFF position.
- Ensure that the ignition switch is in the LOCK position.
- Rotate the bulb and socket 1/4 turn counterclockwise in order to remove the bulb and socket from the vehicle.
- Remove the bulb from the socket if being replaced.
- Remove the lens retaining clip from the license plate lamp.
- Remove the lens from the filler panel.
