Vehicle Speed Sensor: Removal

2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo Extended, 5.7 R, L31/KL8SECTION Removal

Raise and support the vehicle. Remove the right front tire and wheel assembly. Remove the vehicle speed sensor wiring harness connector. Remove the vehicle speed sensor bolt (9). See Fig 1 . Remove the vehicle speed sensor (10) from the extension case. Remove the O-ring (11) from the vehicle speed sensor (10). See Fig 2 .
