2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo Extended, 5.7 R, L31/KL8SECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the wheel bearing/hub.
  2. Install NEW wheel bearing/hub bolts.

    TightenΒ  Tighten the new wheel bearing/hub bolts to 130 N.m(96 lb ft).

  3. Install the brake rotor. Refer to BRAKE ROTOR .
  4. Install the wheel drive shaft nut. Refer to AXLE SHAFT in Front Axle.

    Important:Β  Ensure that the connector clip engages the bracket properly.

  5. Install the wheel speed sensor electrical connector to the bracket.
  6. Connect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
  7. Install the tire and wheel.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
