2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo Extended, 5.7 R, L31/KL8SECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear DoorΒ .
  2. Remove the door module. Refer to Door Control Module ReplacementΒ .
  3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear DoorΒ .
  4. Remove the door window inner belt molding. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt InnerΒ .
  5. Remove the door window outer belt molding. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt OuterΒ .
  6. Remove the rear door window. Refer to Window Replacement - Rear DoorΒ .
  7. Grasp the front, lower end of the window weatherstrip (3) and pull back to reveal door applique fasteners.

  9. Remove the applique fasteners.
  10. Slide the applique straight back to remove.
