2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo Extended, 5.7 R, L31/KL8SECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Position the I/P dimmer switch to the air deflector.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the fasteners in order to secure the I/P dimmer switch to the air deflector.

    TightenΒ 

    Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connector to the I/P dimmer switch.
  4. Install the I/P dimmer switch knob.

  5. Position the left air deflector to the opening in the I/P cluster trim plate.
  6. Push inward in order to engage the clips securing the air deflector to the I/P cluster trim plate.
  7. Install the left I/P endcap. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL (IP) OUTER TRIM COVER REPLACEMENT .
