2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo Extended, 5.7 R, L31/KL8SECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the front bumper impact bar bracket to the vehicle.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the fasteners to secure the front of the front bumper impact bar bracket.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fasteners to 50 N.m (37 ft lbs).

  3. Install the fastener to secure the rear of the front bumper impact bar bracket.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fastener to 50 N.m (37 ft lbs).

  4. Install the front impact bar. Refer to IMPACT BAR REPLACEMENT - Front Bumper . .
  5. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to FASCIA REPLACEMENT - Front Bumper . .
