  1. Combine the air cleaner intake duct and the mass air flow/intake air temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor.
  2. Install the air cleaner intake and the MAF/IAT assembly on the throttle body and on the air cleaner cover.
    CAUTION: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Inspect for proper alignment of the air cleaner intake and MAF/IAT assembly and tighten the hose clamps.

    TightenΒ 

    Tighten the air cleaner intake and MAF/IAT assembly clamps to 3 N.m (27 in lbs).

  4. Connect the mass air flow/intake air temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor electrical connector.
