Oil Pump Assemble (Unit Repair)

NOTE: Front cover damage and engine damage will result if gerotor gears are not properly installed into front cover.
  1. Install gear with groove in gear aligning with race in front cover.
  2. Install gerotor cover and bolts.

    Torque: 

    Oil Pump Gerotor Cover Bolts: 6 N.m (53 in-lbs)

  3. Install pressure relief valve piston.
  4. Install pressure relief valve spring.
  5. Install pressure relief valve plug.

Torque: 

Oil Pump Pressure Relief Valve Plug: 40 N.m (30 ft-lbs)
