  1. Clean intake manifold mating surfaces.
  2. Inspect intake manifold for damage.
  3. Inspect intake manifold for cracks near compression limiters.
  4. Inspect crankcase ventilation passages in intake manifold face for blockage and clean as necessary.
  5. Clean crankcase ventilation passages with compressed air. Use a maximum of 172 kPa (25 psi) of air pressure.
  6. Replace intake manifold as necessary.
