- Ensure ignition is off and key is removed. Connect Side Impact Sensor (SIS) connector. Install Connector Position Assurance (CPA) clip. Install SIS in lower B-pillar. See SIDE IMPACT SENSOR (SIS) under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Install lower B-pillar trim panel.
- Install SIR fuse in fuse block. See Figure. Staying well away from air bag modules, turn ignition on. Check air bag system for proper operation. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
