Ignition Coil: Installation

2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo Extended, 5.7 R, L31/KL8SECTION Installation

  1. Install the ignition coils (3).
  2. Install ignition coil mounting bolts (4). Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ  . See Figure .
  3. Install the wiring harness (1) and 2 harness retainer bolts (2). Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ  .
  4. Connect the ignition coil (3) wiring harness connectors (1). See Figure .
  5. Install engine cover (1). See Figure .
  6. Install engine cover (1) bolts. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ  .
