2001 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo Extended, 5.7 R, L31/KL8SECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel insulator. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - RIGHT in GAUGES AND INSTRUMENT PANELS
  2. Remove the instrument panel insulator. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - LEFT in GAUGES AND INSTRUMENT PANELS .
  3. Disconnect the vacuum hoses from the vacuum tank.

  4. Remove the screws that secure the vacuum tank to the HVAC module.
  5. Remove the vacuum tank.
