TCC Pulse Width Modulation Solenoid: Removal

- Remove the case side cover. See CASE SIDE COVERΒ .
- Disconnect and reposition the electrical connectors from the following:
- 2-3 Shift solenoid valve assembly.
- Fluid pressure manual valve position switch assembly. See Figure .
CAUTION: Do not remove the bolt (205) that holds the oil pump together. See Figure . - Remove the oil pump bolts (206 and 207).
- Remove the oil pump from the valve body. See Figure .
- Disconnect the torque converter clutch pulse width modulation (TCC PWM) solenoid electrical connector.
- Remove the TCC PWM solenoid retaining clip (314F). See Fig 1 .
- Remove the TCC PWM solenoid (334).
