- Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
- Remove air bag mounting Torx bolts from back of steering wheel. Disconnect horn ground lead. See Figure. Remove CPA clip and disconnect driver-side air bag module connector. Remove air bag module.
