Oil Pan: Installation

Apply a 1/8" (3 mm) bead of RTV sealant to oil pan side sealing flanges, to front of oil pan where it contacts front cover and to the ears of NEW oil pan rear seal. Install seal onto bottom of rear main bearing cap. Install oil pan. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten all fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ .
