2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Removal & Disassembly

Remove oil pan. See OIL PANΒ  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. For S-10 Pickup and Sonoma, remove oil pump drive. Remove bolt securing oil pump to rear main bearing cap. Remove oil pump and extension shaft. Remove extension shaft and retainer from oil pump. Disassemble pump.
