Engine Front Cover Replacement: Notes
2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Notes

- Remove the crankcase balancer. Refer Crankshaft Balancer Replacement .
- Remove the drive belt tensioner. See Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement .
- Remove the engine front cover to water pump bolt.
- Remove the remaining engine front cover bolts.
- Remove the engine front cover.
- If the engine front cover gasket is damaged.
- Remove the front engine mount. Refer to Engine Mount Replacement .
- Remove the engine front cover gasket if it is damaged.
