Installation Procedure
- Install the camshaft cover and bolts. See Figure.
Tighten
Tighten the camshaft cover bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the ground strap. See Figure.
Tighten
Tighten the ground strap bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the ignition coil and module assembly. See Figure.
Tighten
Tighten the ignition coil and module assembly bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the brake booster hose/pipe to it's bracket.
- Install the fuel line bracket.
Tighten
Tighten the fuel line bracket bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the accelerator and cruise control cables bracket.
Tighten
Tighten the accelerator and cruise control cables bracket bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Connect the negative battery cable.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
