Charcoal Canister: Installation

2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Installation

CAUTION: The charcoal canister may have released carbon particles which caused this part to fail and may cause damage to other components. Check the charcoal canister for loose carbon before returning the vehicle to service.

Snap the canister retainer onto the canister. Install the end of the canister into the tab on the body. Install the attaching bolt to the canister retainer. Tighten the bolt to 89 INCH lbs. (10 N.m). To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONSΒ .
