- Position the latch assembly (3) to the alignment marks.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the latch assembly bolts (7).
Tighten
Tighten the rear compartment lid latch assembly bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
- Install the remote release cable (1) to the lock release box, if equipped.
- Clip the cable door at the top of the lock release box (2), if equipped.
- Install the lock cable assembly (8).
