2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Installation Procedure

- Install the trim panel into the rear compartment.
- Adjust the trim panel to the desired appearance.
- Align the trim panel with the slots in the rear body panel, and press until the plate clips are fully engaged.
- Install the rear compartment spare tire cover.NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the spare tire cover retainer.
TightenΒ
Tighten the retainer to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).
- Install the push-in retainers (2) near the tail lamps, if equipped.
- Install the cargo net, if equipped.
- Return the rear seat back to its upright position.
- Install the push-in retainer to the left rear shock tower.
- Close the rear compartment lid.
