Removal Procedure
2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Removal Procedure

- Close the sunroof.
- Remove the sunroof window. Refer to SUNROOF WINDOW REPLACEMENTΒ .
- Remove the sunroof module assembly. Refer to SUNROOF MODULE ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENTΒ .
- Remove the sunshade panel (3). Refer to SUNROOF SUNSHADE PANEL REPLACEMENTΒ .
- Remove the sunroof motor/actuator (7). Refer to SUNROOF MOTOR/ACTUATOR REPLACEMENTΒ .
- Remove the rivets from the sunroof tube retainers, which are located on the motor bracket.
- Remove the sunroof track screws.
- Remove the tie wraps holding the drive tube (6) to the retaining tube (5).
- Pull the cable out of the plastic return tube.
- Remove the sunroof track and lifter arm assembly by pushing the track assembly inwards to loosen (9).
- Remove the sunroof drive tube retainer (10) from the end of the track and the copper drive tube.
