- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE FRONT DOOR (PONTIAC) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE FRONT DOOR (CHEVROLET) .
- Disconnect the electrical connector for the power mirror switch (2).
- Loosen the set screw (3) enough to remove the switch (2).
- Remove the switch (2) from the upper extension trim panel (1).
