2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the passenger carpet retainer. Refer to CARPET RETAINER REPLACEMENT (SEDAN) or CARPET RETAINER REPLACEMENT (COUPE) in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove enough of the carpet to access the door lock relay (1) located on the passenger hinge pillar (2).
  3. Pull the relay (1) away from the hinge pillar (2) disengaging the rosebud retainer.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector (3) from the relay (1).
  5. Remove the relay (1) from the vehicle.
