2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Removal Procedure

- Raise the window to the full UP position.
- Remove the trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE FRONT DOOR (PONTIAC) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE FRONT DOOR (CHEVROLET) .
- Drill out the inside handle rivet (1).
- Slide the door inside handle (2) rearward in order to disengage the tabs.
- For the front door, remove both rods (2, 5) from the inside door handle (3).
For the rear door, remove the handle rod.
- Remove the inside handle (3) from the door.
