Installation Procedure

2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the front bumper impact bar.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the nuts to the front bumper impact bar.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the front bumper impact bar nuts to 150 N.m (111 lb ft).

  3. Install the wiring harness and the components to the impact beam.
  4. Install the front fascia. Refer to FASCIA REPLACEMENT - FRONT BUMPER (CHEVROLET)  or FASCIA REPLACEMENT - FRONT BUMPER (PONTIAC)  .
  5. Lower the vehicle.
