2001 Chevrolet Cavalier LS, 2.4 TSECTION Removal Procedure

IMPORTANT: The tweeter speaker is not serviced separately from the speaker grille. Replace as an assembly.
  1. Remove the front door trim panel (3) from the inner door. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE FRONT DOOR (PONTIAC) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE FRONT DOOR (CHEVROLET) in Doors.
  2. Remove the retaining nuts (2) form the speaker grille on the back side of the trim panel (3).
  3. Remove the speaker grille (1) from the trim panel (3).
